[Asa mo ana?].Anyways,being a one of the kagay-anon people,I am very proud of my city its because we are rich in natural resources,we dont lack of food supplies,we can get easily our daily needs and of course with our New city mayor Hon. Constantino G.Jaraula.
I was born in this city,Cagayan de oro and grown up here for 16 years.I have lots of friends that are friendly and enthusiastic.Here in Cagayan de oro City,they are also good spots for tourist vacations.We have our Best White Water Rafting that cannot be seen in any other places here in the Phiippines,we do also have BARS,RESTOBARS,RESTAURANTS,SHOPS,BIG MALLS,PARKS,DISCO CLUB,BEACHES,POOLS,KARENDERYA,and our very much own NIGHT Cafe,Churches,Rivers,Mountains,Airport,Hotels,Schools and Colleges,Banks and many more...

Cagayan de Oro City is located at the Northern coast of Mindanao,
Philippines. It is the capital of
Misamis Oriental province and
the regional center for Northern Mindanao (Region 10). The city is also known
for its initials C.D.O.
Cebuano or Bisaya is the city's main dialect. English on the other hand is widely used in schools, media, government and commercial transactions.
People from Cagayan de Oro are called "Kagayanons". Most are brown-skinned Malay descent. Some are mixed Chinese and Spanish ancestry popularly known to locals as "Mestizo".
Cagayan de Oro is home to several universities and colleges. Schools such as Xavier University, Liceo de Cagayan University and Capitol University are known in the fields of Nursing, Medicine, Agriculture, Engineering and Commerce.
The city is known for many names. It is known as "The Golden City of the South" and "The Gateway to Northern Mindanao" because of its location and good transportation facilities. But it is through its warm and hospitable people that the city became known as "The City of Golden Friendship".
